About

Hello and welcome.

I am a licensed mental health counselor in Washington providing psychotherapy services across the state.

I work from a humanistic, psychodynamic and attachment lens, so I will help you explore past experiences and how these are influencing your current experiences. If you are feeling anxious or panicked, I want to help you identify the sources and help you cope with these symptoms as they arise. If you are coming up against difficulties in your romantic or familial relationships, I will help you understand your relationship history, how to establish your current relational needs and how to be assertive with them.
I am gentle, and will not give you direct advice on how to live your life, as I believe you are the expert in advising yourself. However, I will warmly guide you through evidence based interventions so that you may learn (and “un-learn”) how to show up for yourself compassionately.

I am down to earth and as a humanistic counselor, I come to session as myself so that you can feel welcome to do the same. I will honor your experiences and you will feel heard and understood, even though we may have walked different paths. I believe we all heal in relationships, and through the therapeutic relationship, attachment wounds can be healed and inner critics can be quieted.
I specialize in college student concerns, but see adults anywhere from 18 to 35.
